long time no see

so, my college shut down. yep, im an honorary VIT bhopal student (or as we like to call it, vit bhopu). and now i'm at home, rotting and waiting for college to reopen but it seems really bleak rn. so now i have all this spare time at my disposable which i cant seem to be able to use productively apart from pulling in a couple of hours worth of studying that i'll most likely forget in 4 days. we're supposed to be writing our end terms as soon as the college restarts so thats like a sword hanging over my head. purpose of this post: gimme ideas to use all this extra time nicely so i feel a little less bad about myself and get smth to brag about on linkedin. Long time no see coders! It is I, Taufiq. For starters, i’m a second year student now (FINALLY), who’s sole goal is to be a jack of all trades. I’ve dabbled in game development, circuit design, 3D Modelling and Printing, and making random apps.

But, i’ve turned down the notch a little, for the first time, I’m not learning 4 skills at a time like I’m actually making something productive of it.

The special occasion? AN INTERNSHIP. Yo boi finally hit a “paid” (performance based) internship at an AI game related startup, i’d call it a ChatGPT wrapper, but it’s just a little more than that.

But what’s the perfect way of hitting it off at an internship, without being left in the dust?

so i randomly came across this free workshop on unstop called "React.js Unfiltered - AIALCHEMIST" hosted by Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences (never heard of it before this tbh).

Can i use the certificate as a prop in my portfolio? Yes. Can i build cooler things now? Also yes (I would like to believe so). Am i still scared of it? HECK YEAH.

when i signed up i was semi-confident in React (?). walked out with a certificate (and a bruised ego cuz i didnt know as much as i thought i did).

Thought I’d wake up early today. Set multiple alarms. Snoozed them all like a pro 😴 Finally got up late, still motivated to complete a few lectures. Opened my phone to Google something… and somehow ended up scrolling reels on Instagram for way too long 😅 But I pulled myself together in the evening, managed to complete a few lectures, and made myself a good cup of coffee ☕💫 Anyone else in the same boat?👇
