Online Interviews

Seeing a lot of buzz around how there are these new AI extensions/apps that are completely hidden, even during screen share and are being used by everyone globally to clear their technical interviews and the websites are claiming to have helped people land over 1 million jobs. This is pretty frustrating to look at, you work so hard on everything, say conceptual stuff or DSA stuff, your months of efforts, all going in vain because some guy used an AI tech to ace his interview. Chances are companies might stop online interviews for this very reason, and move back to in-person interviews, but there is no guarantee of that happening.. What is your opinion on this? Have you heard of these things?

Honestly i have mixed opinions. There is a part of me which agrees to what @Vedika Dora and you have said, but after having gone through their website, they basically invented it because the whole system of recruiting is fucked, in most cases it does not make sense or is outdated, and cheating or using the help of AI [which they claim is the norm now since it is so integrated in our lives ] is just how things will and should be moving forward.

I could use it, but again at the end of the day it comes to your own personal ethics and moral code of conduct, if you're fine with cheating on an interview with the risk of getting caught later in person when people find out you don't know shit, sure, go ahead, but i wouldn't.

For anyone else running on 2% battery...

I’m genuinely exhausted. Between assignments, studying, and trying to build side projects, it feels like my brain’s on a hamster wheel that never stops. Sometimes I finish a task and just sit there, staring at the wall, wondering why there’s always more.

Honestly, I just need to vent a bit right now and want someone to say, “Yeah, same. It’s rough.” Maybe we’ll figure it out tomorrow — but tonight, I’m just letting my brain buffer for a bit. 🧃💤

Bit late to see this but,

Hey Ishika, we'll all been there!!

It feels like a never ending loop, but pausing once in a while is what helps.

If you're having too much on your plate at a time, don't try to do it all at once, go one by one, prioritize.

Say assignments, if you have the deadlines close focus on the assignments first, the maybe focus on a side project you had started, if your mind feels blocked there too, do something completely unrelated to your studies or coding.

The right mind is a must, whether it's coding or studying.

Once your mind feels fresh and ready to learn/code, that is when you get back to it.

You got this, don't worry✨

Feeling low peeps!

Haven't been very active here lately. Haven't practiced anything for a while now. Feeling lost and now this doesn't feel right.

Being a day scholar, day ends and I feel extremely tired but i want it to be productive!

How do I get back on track?

That's exactly what a burnout is.

You're allowed to take a break once in a while, so don't be harsh on yourself, and do something you enjoy, probably watching a movie, or an episode.

Then, when you are feeling better, start small.

Don't jump in right where you left, you could explore a new topic you haven't done before, just for curiosity, or you could just go back and do some topics again, like a revision, topics that you studied recently, and they gave you confidence..

Hope this helps:)

Riddle time

I remember where I came from, even when you forget.

I’m born inside functions but live outside of it.

People say I "close over" things,

But I just keep variables like kids keep candy.

Who am I?
