How this works and who is usually considered

Founders aren’t just hiring coders—they’re hiring builders. They look beyond resumes and care about visibility, initiative, and consistency. Here’s how the Founders Office works—and who usually gets picked.

01

Top talent isn’t just about LeetCode anymore. Founders are looking for people who code and communicate. Those who rank high on the Zencode Leaderboard and are active on the feed stand out the most.

02

You don’t need to be perfect—you need to show up often. Founders notice those who post regularly, share what they’re building, and engage with others. That’s the kind of energy startups thrive on.

03

Cod3r flips the script. You’re not getting hired because of a GPA or a CV. You’re getting hired because you took initiative—you built something, you helped others, you showed up to CodeNights. That’s what makes you hire-worthy.

04

The more you post, the more you rank, the more you engage—the more visible you become. This visibility isn’t just clout—it’s currency. Founders browse through the platform looking for the ones who are already doing the work.

05

Founders want people who document the process, not just share the result. If you’re posting about your learning journey, project struggles, and progress—even if it’s messy—you’re the kind of person they want on the team.

Built for the ones who are not afraid to show up and build in public, those are who the founders look for

Not everyone gets in,
not everyone gets through

Once we receive your candidature, we'll keep a close eye on you, and after verifying your application, we will let you into the group where you'll be able to interact directly with the hiring managers or the founders themselves.

In other cases, we're always keeping an eye out either way, so some people will be directly be added to the group due to their outstanding contributions and activity

Apply for Founders Office's Exclusive Job Portal

Please make sure you're only applying when you are confident in your abilities. In case you apply for fun, you miss out on the chance to apply for another 3 months, and impact the chances of getting shortlisted in the future since your application for the second time will be assessed in more detail.

It is not mandatory for you to have built something extraordinary, but as long as you did build something, it is all that matters.

Ps: a good project or even an exceptional one at that could eliminate the criteria of Leaderboard Points you see below.

This is nearly mandatory criteria for you to be considered as a builder, because only then will you be a good fit to work directly with a founder at the possible next big startup.
