Obsession beats Talent. Every single time.

I was so done. With everything. College work, coding, interacting with people on projects it's all so frustrating. And it's so much easier to just ignore and avoid and sit and doomscroll. Which is kinda what I was doing when my mom came in and said something that reallyyy stuck with me.

"Beta, just remember, time will not stop. It'll pass; it has to. But are you making it count? I just don't want you to wake up one day as a 45-year-old living with regrets when you can do so much more."

And just when I was about to play the, "But mom, I'm not good enough." card, she said, "And it doesn't matter if there are people out there better than you. If you're not working towards it, just admit that you don't want it enough. Don't blame others for getting what they want, just because you're restricting yourself."

Yep, leave it to her to give me a reality check.

Point is, what she said really stuck with me. If you want it enough, the why, the when, the how, is all secondary. You just do it.

Hope this helped you, the way it helped me. :)

Mom's always do give the best advice during times we need it the most. Aunty W + what a hard image you've posted along with it, totally suits the vibe and adds more effect to the overall post.

Plus, to continue, i read somewhere that Hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard
